The Missouri Alumni Association (MAA), established in 2000, was chartered to provide a network of support to fellow Phi Theta Kappans, the Missouri Region, Headquarters, and all alumni. The purpose of the Missouri Alumni Association shall be to support and promote the people, programs, and priorities of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. To achieve this purpose, the organization shall provide opportunities for leadership, professional growth, and life-long learning for current and future Missouri Alumni Association members. Our vision is that Missouri Alumni Association shall be the standard of excellence for all Phi Theta Kappa alumni associations as we fulfill our purpose.
The MAA is facilitated by the Executive Committee, comprised of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Accounts Secretary, and Past President who serve staggered terms. The Association advisors and the Missouri Region Coordinators serve as non-voting, ex-officio members of the Executive Committee. The Association is governed by the MAA By-laws. The Executive Committee handles all questions not specifically dealt with in the Association’s by-laws and makes recommendations to the membership.
